Mrs. Chambers was the wife of Sheriff Al Chambers in Fairvale. She told Lila Crane that she helped Norman Bates pick out the dress his mother was buried in. It was periwinkle blue, she recalled.
Mrs. Chambers and her husband attended the Fairvale Church.
