The Fairvale Church is in Fairvale, California. It was frequented by Sheriff Al Chambers and his wife. Lila Crane and Sam Loomis met the Chambers there after Sunday services to discuss Marion Crane's disappearance.

The church is a façade on the backlot of Universal Studios known as Circle Drive.
In the novel Sam and Lile first check for Sheriff Chambers at his office in the "new" annex of County Court House, but learned he is at Sunday services at the First Baptist Church. Sam and Lila walk the short distance to the church where immediately stop their conservation about having the interrupt Sheriff Chambers' worship inside the church as they can already see the services have concluded as soon as they turn down the side street.
